Now consider having only 5 MP, if you're missing one to hit your opponent, (as a Iop for example since they're often the only ones playing 12/5 to do jump + wrath combo) well, you basically have 12 AP wasted, or you won't be able to optimize your damages, es pecially since your whole set will be made to give AP rather than damages. Most of the time, your spells will allows you to work out something to combo with 11 AP, you are rarely missing an AP to do anything really important during a fight, like you're not often using only 9 AP and if you were to only use 10 and have one remaining, 1 more AP would not change much. Ok you have 12 AP, but 3 trophies are used for AP, one of them has a huge downside and you can't even use an exo MP since the jackanapes won't let you play 12/6, so you are clearly restricted. Now try getting 12 AP, amulet, shaker, AP exo, ochre dofus and jackanapes trophy. And most of the time in PvP, you'll replace the seemyol for a croum and use a nomad, which is a really great trophy. boots, seemyol, MP exo, boom, 6MP easy, 0 downside. It is way easier to reach 11/6 than 12/5. There is several reasons why the meta is 11/6 instead of 12/5: Excepted if you are playing a iop, 11/6 is the way to go (and iop at lvl 200 will be 11/6, 12/6 but never 12/5).
